Your calm, easygoing dog can help a reactive dog learn that other dogs aren't scary.

What it looks like

Short, structured sessions managed by me. Most of the work happens at a distance, with no pressure and no direct interaction. Your dog's comfort comes first. If your dog isn't comfortable, the session stops.

What you get

• A $20 training credit every session you handle your own dog, toward private training with Jen G. Pywell
• Up to 75 assisting hours toward a CPDT-KA certification, for aspiring trainers (You don't need to have a chill dog.)
• An outing for your dog, with pickup and drop-off in a crash-tested safety crate

My Dog Needs More Chill

Does your dog bark, lunge, or shut down around other dogs or people? You're not alone, and your dog isn't a bad dog. Your dog is struggling, and that can change.

What it looks like

Step-by-step training with my Confident & Calm Dog Training System, at a pace your dog can handle. When your dog is ready, Chill Squad dogs give your dog the chance to practice around calm, predictable dogs in a safe, controlled setup.

What you get

• A certified trainer (CPDT-KA) who specializes in fear and reactivity
• In-person training in Montclair, including day training, or virtual training by Zoom
• Real-world practice without the surprises of a busy sidewalk
