Tapping is a self-administered modern energy technique, also know as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), that helps us quickly remove stuck energy in the form of negative emotions from our bodies to help us feel better right away. When we feel better and experience positive emotions we can make better decisions for ourselves and create healthier relationships with others. Tapping is a tool for self-care and self-love.
Tapping is exactly what it sounds like. With our fingers we gently tap on acupressure or meridian points on our face, head and chest. It is similar to acupuncture but without the needles. The gentle tapping sequence is easy to learn and can be done anywhere. Combined with self affirming phrases and language pertaining to whatever specific issues we are experiencing, tapping helps us very quickly neutralize difficult experiences and guides us into a more positive frame of mind. It leaves us feeling grounded and calm by helping us identify emotions in our bodies that no longer serve us and intentionally releasing them. It works. And anyone can do it.

Jen G. Pywell is a Professional Tapping Practitioner, certified by the Guild of Energists (GOE). She welcomes individuals and groups who want to tap in order improve their emotional well being and live better lives. Individual and group tapping sessions can be booked via zoom. Individual sessions are one person working in specific goals. Group sessions can be couples, families or teams of professionals who are working toward a common goal, including conflict resolution or improving communication. The goal with all modern energy tapping sessions is to "move up the scale" from negative emotions, past neutral emotions into positive emotions. We first work on releasing any negativity, like anger, frustration, sadness, hopelessness and confusion from our bodies. It is surprising and inspiring how quickly we can do this! From there we can tap into positive emotions, like curiosity, gratitude, confidence, prosperity, bliss, excitement, fun, love. Withe each session we will have neutralized and released negative emotions about specific situations (in our past, present or worries about the future) and enjoy a renewed sense of emotional well being to carry into our lives.
Before each tapping session we look at this scale to see where they are at emotionally and energetically. Emotions can be thought of as energy in our bodies that vibrate at lower or higher frequencies.
Zero is neutral. Day to day life leaves many of us, just below zero, always with a certain background or baseline stress.
As we move down on the scale from -1 to -10, we experience progressively stronger negative emotions like confusion, stress, hopelessness, jealousy, unease, anxiety, anger, frustration, regret, shame and depression.
As we "move up the scale" from +1 to +10, we experience progressively stronger positive emotions like curiosity, inspiration, creativity, joy, love, excitement, happiness and bliss. This is the goal of modern energy tapping: to neutralize negative experiences and move into emotional well being.
As we tap we check into our energy bodies and emotions using the scale as a visual reference to see the progress we are making.
Tapping can work surprisingly quickly to release stuck emotions and move us into higher vibrations.
When we begin living at a higher frequency, we can make healthier choices for ourselves and receive more desirable outcomes into our experiences.
